3-Story Rundown #2 (April 18, 2016)

So, I have not updated this blog in eight and a half months.  I have a very good reason for this..........screw it!  I have no good reason.  The college work that I had puts so much stress in me that every free time that I have is dedicated to either playing DotA 2 (which the idea of still playing it troubles me), reading fanfictions (mostly the saucy ones), and sleeping (what kind of college student would I be).  After months of inactivity and the semester is about to end, I watched reruns of The Daily Show on the Internet.  The show made me miss the time that I started this blog.  After all, what kind of sick monster would I be if I stopped criticizing extensively the socially, politically and, intellectually inept.

This is the reason why I am posting another 3-story rundown.  Well, at least one of the reasons.  The other reason would be that I still don't have the will to write another one (GODDAMN YOU, COLLEGE!!!).  I hope this piece revives my will to insult people, like Binay.  Enjoy this sick monstrosity of a piece:

1.)  Mindanao Religious Leaders Endorse Binay Over Duterte (Rappler.com)

The Sabiel Almuhtadeen Foundation-Philippines, Incorporated has supported the sexual chocolate and not turbo-FPJ.  The leaders of this foundation reasoned that the Greek God of Charcoals will bring an end to the discrimination and injustice on Muslims and "lasting peace", which has nothing to do with the territorial claims and a certain bill that never caught on.

Again, this must be a huge spank in the ass for the Judge Dredd of Mindanao.  Of course, a typical Binay one-up is not complete without an idiotic phrase from the Vice President of the Sun People.

“Gawain ho ni Duterte ‘yung ganun. All of us, Muslims, Christians, all of us have the moral responsibility na hindi ho maging presidente si Duterte kasi kapag dumating ho ang punto sabi ni Duterte na 'wag kayong magrally-rally sa Davao, ibig sabihin kapag hindi mo sinunod ‘yun, papatayin ka noon,”
-Binay

WE HAVE A MORAL RESPONSIBILTY OF NOT VOTING A MAN WHO COULD PREVENT OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH.  INSTEAD, WE HAVE A MORAL RESPONSIBILITY TO VOTE A MAN WHO SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE A FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO BEGIN WITH!!!

Seriously, Chris Rock's evil twin has the audacity to tell us our responsibility while he admits he has no responsibility at all.  From his alleged corruption to the fact that he told UPLB students that he has neither roles nor responsibilities in the government, according to the law.  So basically, we are being told of our moral responsibilities by a man who has consistently denied any responsibilities whatsoever, possibly including the moral one.

2.) Duterte clarifies stand on China row, NPA tax (ABS-CBN News)

To sum it up, Roxas want Duterte to clarify his stance on these certain issues, since the Mayor has some irregularities made in his statements.  After the former DILG secretary pointed these out, Duterte responded in one of the most idiotic statements I ever heard from him:

"Baka ang nagfli-flipflop ay siya -- sometimes, lalaki; sometimes, babae. Isa lang ang China, ano ba ang i-flipflop mo diyan. That is ours there. Anong gusto niya? I will claim the whole of China for us?"     -Duterte

WTF?!  The man is questioning your statements and you fired back with verbal insults and lack of understanding of the question asked.  Roxas questioned your statements and you questioned his gender identity?!  Worst of all, the last part of that statement wasn't even in Roxas' argument.  This is ignorance at its finest.  The best part is that it didn't stop there.

"I am friendly to everybody. I am friendly even to China, but China knows that that is ours. It doesn't mean to say that if you're my friend, if you take a territory from me, I will not be friendly with you,"     -Duterte

Oh, Rody.  You'll never understand, do you?  First of all, your friendliness has an exception, and that is to criminals.  So, statement 1 is already false.  Second, the China doesn't know that it is ours.  Even if we told them, THEY WILL STILL SAY THAT IT IS THEIRS.  That is the problem of China, and you know you can't be friendly to others who says "mine" to everything he/she sees.  Finally, "if you take a territory from me, I will not be friendly with you," is not a statement you need to hear from a presidential candidate.  Sure, he later said that he doesn't want war, you cannot be saying that if you are going to be a president.  The president must be calm and friendly, not easily provocative.

The article never stopped there.  He also had some statements about the NPA:

"I have to talk to them, I have see what I can do for my country to arrive at a peaceful solution. You do not kill your own enemies, you have to talk them. I am friendly with them because I know one day, I will have to talk them about nation-building."     -Duterte

Again with the friendliness.  Right now, I need to ask a question to Mayor Duterte: who really is your friend?  I know criminals aren't, but rebels?  They are the organization that consistently commit unlawful behavior, and justify them as acts for a better cause or accidents.  I don't even know who your friends are.  The most frightening is the fact that I also don't know who your enemies were.

Roxas also blasted Duterte in the subject of revolutionary tax, the "tax" businessman have to pay to the NPA.  Apparently, Duterte advises them to pay it, which Roxas pointed out.  Good news is that Rody's vice presidential running mate, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, defended him.  Bad news is that he also responded with the way Duterte did, with lack of understanding of the argument.

"Ang Liberal po ang nagsabi na kasama sa programa nila ang pakikipag-usap sa NPA. Bakit kapag mas gusto ng NPA na kausap si Mayor Duterte, biglang sila ngayon ay kalaban at hindi dapat kausapin?"     -Cayetano

OH, COME ON, CAYETANO?!  Do I have to explain it to you?  Roxas never made any statements whatsoever about denying talks with the NPA, at least on that matter.  He only questioned Duterte's advice.  Why is it that this party only resorts to questioning the person asking without comprehending the question itself?  Is this your running gag or current strategy?

Look, I am not saying that I am a Roxas supporter.  I am more of a Miriam boy (#MiriamFight).  I view Roxas less of a politician and more of a sycophant.

3.) Poe, Duterte in statistical tie; Robredo tops VP race  (GMA News Network)

Oh, great.  Another SWS Survey.  Joy.  I can't wait for them to dictate CORRECTLY which candidate we need to vote for.....

At this point in my life, I stopped listening to this surveys.  They don't really tell the whole story.  This is why I am leaving this third story with a blank slate, which is a first for me.  To compensate for this story's lack of intuitive gains, I am ending this article.

And, that is all for this day's 3-Story Rundown.  I admit, I had fun writing this article, especially the second one.  Hopefully, I could write more stories for everyone to not read.  As always, if there is a reader in this site (probably not), let me know of any errors in this article or previous ones.

3-Story Rundown #1 (July 31, 2015)

So It has been a while since I started this blog, and it is still a desolate place even for a mad man.  While I do enjoy posting criticisms and throwing out insults at the appropriate people, I;m afraid I will have to tone down a bit.  I have to go back to college next week and it depresses me.  So, to spend the last remaining days of laziness and boredom, I will post a three-story rundown.  starting with this:

1.) Mar Roxas announces presidential bid.

I am writing this as I watch Rappler's livestream the presidential bid at Club Filipino.  Mar Roxas has, unsrprisingly, announced that he will run for president.  Keep in mind that he will run against Vice President Jejomar Binay, the same man that beat him in the 2010 elections for vice president.  This was the election that got Roxas so butthurt, he demanded the Supreme Court to investigate the said election.

After four years of healing the buttock wounds inflicted by the walking Nazarene, he comes back with a vengeance.  This is a recounting of that event four years ago because not only will he face Binay, but he has the endorsement of our current president Benigno Aquino III.  The similarities of both elections will make you wonder: "Will the lightning ever strike twice?"  Only time will tell, as we have less than a year until the elections.

2.) Alma Moreno and Princess Jacel Kiram picked as Binay's running mate

Yes, you read it right.  Binay brought in an actress and a princess to his line-up.  As always, I'm disappointed.  It is as if he isn't even trying anymore.  If I could make a conspiracy theory, I would think that he told his search committee to just look for anyone who is famous so that they would definitely vote for them.  He might have added that they must have a political background just so they could have an excuse for them.  If your argument is that their political background is sufficient to vote for, then let's review:

Alma Moreno ran for council four times, losing the first one and winning the rest.  She has experience in being a councilor, that I can admit.  However, it is a mighty big jump from councilor to senator.  This is why have reason for doubts about her.  I don't want to have another Nancy Binay in the Senate.

As for Princess Jacel Kiram, she is the daughter of the man who's solution for land ownership is guns and army men.  I am not saying she has some responsibility in this, but they are still fighting for this.  Even Binay said that we can't let go of our claim in Sabah.  If the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, we might get into some trouble in the future.

My question now to Binay is: "What's next?"  You have Bongbong Marcos Jr., Tito "Sotto Copy" Sotto, and possibly Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao as running mates.  What famous person who happens to be famous will you pick next?

3.) Malls participate in earthquake drill, People participate not so much

I did know that there will be an earthquake drill, but I did not expect it to be this situated.  The government apparently planned any scenarios that might happen if the so-called "The Big One" arrives.  I admit, I am impressed by the extensiveness of this drill, until TV Patrol reported this:

I am satisfied that the malls participated in this, but disappointed that the people doesn't give a damn what was happening.  Yeah, maybe the information dissemination was ineffective and the sirens weren't loud enough to cause alarm.  However, for those that do know and heard it, can we just have some kind of participation for your nation?  You can go back to defending your property at CoC.

As I watched the whole news, my disappointment turned into irritation when I also watched this:

Are you kidding me?  The only reasons why you didn't take the drill seriously is because you have no cooperation and you started fan boy/girl mode when you saw a celebrity.  What is it with you and celebrities?  I have some celebrities I look up to, and they are not in show business.  Despite that, I won't go screaming at them and taking loads of pictures as I admire them more.  Why is it that a lot of Filipinos get distracted when it comes to celebrities?  I swear that when the Big One comes and you go straight for your favorite celebrity, I will curse you to death.

And that is all you will get for this week's 3-story rundown.  I plan on making this a regular thing to relieve the stupidity I see on news.  As always, any errors you find will be noted, if there is ever a reader in this desolate blog site.

The Expulsion Spree of the INC (part 2)

The Church of the Disunionized Union of the Disunionized. (Image source: Rappler)

Thank you to tuning in with your favorite program, the Philippine National Satire, your number one source for brain poison.  Today, we continue our quest to unravel and, unfortunately, understand the complexity of the INC death threat/hostage/kidnap/corruption controversy.  Last time, we focused on the two Manalo family members who have been expelled from the church.  Today, we focus on the other members of the disunited unity which is about to disunite others for allegedly disuniting the unity of the people disunited the the united society (I welcome your attempt at understanding that).

According to Wikipedia, both INC and ex-INC members claims there were abductions and hostage holding within the church, including the Manalo family.  Roel Rosal, INC minister who got expelled for exposing corruption, said that at least ten ministers were abducted by INC administration.

It's like the movie "Taken", but instead of a retired CIA operative, we have an expelled INC minister and instead being kidnapped by human traffickers for sexual slavery, they get kidnapped by human churchgoers for religious slavery.

The similarities is uncanny. (Image source: afterthecut.com and TV5)

What interests me in this topic is about expelled INC minister and former editor of INC's Pasugo magazine: Isaias Samson, Jr.  He opposed Glicerios Santos, Jr., INC chief auditor, for misusing funds, Because of that, INC did this to him:
  1. He was house arrested (or in his words "illegally detained") under the supervision of armed guards WORKING FOR the INC admin.  This was allegedly known by military and police forces.  Apparently, the church has gone full MILF, and the L does not stand for "Love".
  2. His passport, computer, cellphone, and other types of communication, which is stupid.  Why would anyone consider your cellphone as a communication device.  It's more like a Clash of Clans handheld console.
  3.  He was accused of being "Antonio Ebangelista", a pseudonym used by a minister who has written critical articles which reveal online details on Church administration.  He denied being one, because his name is Isaias Samson, Jr.  Get it right, INC.
We all know that INC would deny all of that, so there's really no point in dwelling to that topic.  However, I would like to point out something about that:

  1. I did not know that "pasugo" is tagalog work of "God's message". Despite that fact, you could've worked more on the title.  Trust me on that one
  2. Trying to remove the EDITOR of YOUR publication is a BIG mistake. It is because what better way to disseminate messages than an editor, especially if that message can ruin your entire disunionized unity that you might have accidentally disunited.
  3. "Antonio Ebangelista".  That's the best name you got for a tattletale?  That is like calling me "Agapito Hampaslupa".  No matter how many times you call me that, you will still be the one getting laughed at.

Look, INC.  This is a complex situation you are delved in, but expelling your critics one by one isn't going to solve the whole problem.  It's like Youtubers banning users for commenting negatively on their videos.  It is a very d*@k move for commenters, but banning them will not stop negative comments.  In fact, it will only grow worse.

You have got to have a more peaceful yet effective solution in this problem, otherwise your union of people disunionized from other union will be disunioned by your disunioning others from the union.

This is all the reaction you are going to get from.  I need to point out that this was written on the 26th of July, 2015, and the information I have gathered dates back to the 25th of July, 2015, including the first part..  If I ever made some erroneous, factual, or intellectual property errors, please do let me know in the comments.  I just want this topic to end.  I don't even want to reread them in my own blog site (except for Ebangelista, which is a good joke).

SONA: A Celebration of Vanity and Avarice

The Man of the Hour or Three (Image source:philstar.com)

So, the Season of the SONA is over, and everything is back to the way it should be; lifeless, meaningless pit of existence inside a country possibly run by idiots.  Many have reacted either positively or negatively towards PNoy and his words of non-wisdom, a traditional ritual performed by both the intellectual and the stupid Filipinos.  Intellectual Filipinos do it because they have valid arguments against PNoys address, while stupid Filipinos do it because they are stupid.  I will let you decide or know which side are you on.

If you actually read anything in this worthless site, you might think that I would post my own reactions to the SONA.  I'm actually not going to because I haven't even watched it.  Recently, my sleeping pattern is in utter chaos, and I slept through the SONA despite the fact that I already slept 10 hours last night.  To be fair, even without sleeping problems, I would still sleep through the entire address.  Even if I start watching it right now, it would take very long for me to actually write about it, and by the time I would've posted it, the interest on the topic would've been gone and the opportunity is lost.

So, to make up after lost time, I decided to react to something about the SONA, but not what is in it.  I am talking about what is surrounded by it: clothing.  Yes, clothing, the only thing that gets more expensive as it grows less material.  Whenever a SONA comes up, politicians and celebrities treat it as a red carpet premiere.  I consider it as a litmus for the subject's vanity and avarice/  Think about it: if the clothing is more flashy and expensive, he/she has committed TWO capital sins, as taught by the Catholic Church.

Red Carpet of the Politically Inept (Image source: interaksyon.com)

You might be wondering as to why I'm writing about the fashion of SONA?  It is because I can't wrap my head around to accepting the fact that this is still a thing in our country.  It's just like beauty pageant, they are only good for making others feel bad about their appearances AND their social status.  Why do we still have beauty pageants?  The only people watching them are either horny men or women who are self-conscious about their appearance.

All I'm saying is that there is no need to make a big deal about wearing the most expensive dress and showing it off against other old men with or without knowledge of the lawmaking process.  Oh, your dress is made by an international fashion designer and has jewel encrusted into it?  My clothes was handmade by children in a sweat shop, and I don't even know if it's true or not.  Either way, I don't make a big deal about my clothes, but now that I think about it, maybe I should.

But if they really want us to make a big deal about this, then fine.  An article by ABS-CBN News, a FREAKING NEWS ARTICLE, lists the top 10 best dressed women of the SONA 2015, and I will give my honest reactions about them.  Here it goes:

1.) Kris Aquino

Of course it is.  The biggest star of ABS-CBN ranks first in ABS-CBN's top 10 best dressed women. I am not surprised.  She won last year as well, despite the fact that last year she resembled an over rotten banana.  This year, her dress resembles a 5000 year old statue repeatedly slammed by waves of sea water.  This completely resembles my respect for her as whatever her current occupation is.

2.) Dawn Zulueta

Ok, I have forgotten who she is.  Despite that, love the rose on the shoulders.  However, you still dress like an '80s James Bond movie supervillain's fiance.  Grow a few inches shorter and I would mistake you as a teenage version of Gloria Arroyo.

3.) Lucy Torres

Really?  That's the best you got for a dress?  It looks like a table cloth smeared with garlic seasoning.  If you want me to point out an eye-catching dress, this is definitely not it.  No offense, but the costume choice is horrid.  You don't even fit with the woman beside you.  Let's just get on with it.

4.) Jinkee Pacquiao

Oh, great!  Another rejected costume for the Higantes festival.  Honestly, this dress screams more festive and less professional.  This is a dress for crazy dancing while waving your arms like you have been tasered.  Why is this even in the top 10?

5.) Tootsy Angara

Like the dress.  No more comment.

6.) Heart Evangelista

Also like it, but please don't make the sleeves look like a dead sampaguita.

7.) Grace Poe

Love the simplicity.  However, the image of the palay, maybe a little more work.

8.) Shalani Soledad

Ok, why are these women at the bottom of the damn list, when they should be at the top?

9.) Sol Aragones

Ok, I do not like the fact that people like her come to these events with flashy dresses, but I really have to admit.  Her dress captivated me.  She's like a maiden of ice cream land, sweet but mysterious.

10.) Liza Marcos

.................................
Why is she here?

And there you have it.  The ABS CBN has once proven itself why it remains on top of the media chain.  I hope you enjoyed these mindless attempts at reconstructing the very definition of comedy and fun.  Like always, do let me know if I made any sort of error in this article.  However, if there are errors in the subjective content of my criticism, do not even try.  If you are part of the list and you are either offended or delighted by this, I just want to say: "You deserved it!"

The Expulsion Spree of the INC (part 1)

Rappler's mood meter as of July 25, 2015 5:45 am

This is the news that is so viral, Rappler's mood meter is full of the reaction from these recent events.  At first, I did not understand anything that is happening because of the timeline of the events, but I gained little understanding from Wikipedia (not sponsored by Wikipedia).  If you want a complete rundown of the confusion that has befallen on this not-so-great country, I suggest you use Wikipedia.

As of now, I will cut the entire piece into two parts.  First part will tackle the two expelled Manalo family members, while the second will tackle the missing ministers.  For now, let's review the first part.

So apparently, some members of the INC has been expelled because of allegedly exposing the corruption of the INC administration.  Even Angel Manalo and Tenny Manalo, respectively the brother and mother of the current INC executive minister, have been expelled for sowing disunity within the church.  The two claimed to be threatened and detained by the INC administration.  Basically, they are protecting unity among members by disuniting other members from the church for 'allegedly' disuniting the church.

According to Bienvenido Santiago, chief envangelist of INC, the two attempted to divide the church and seize power within the church.  Two things there:

1.)   That is what a bad guy would say if he was found to be corrupt.  Also, a bad guy would also say that the good guy was threatening and illegally detaining him to avoid telling the truth, so frankly, we are at an impasse.

2.)   Why would the brother and mother of the leader attempt to seize the power of the leader himself?  I could understand the brother, but, brother AND mother?  You do realize that your own mother has special powers over you, right?  Every mother has telepathic, clairvoyant, and omniscient powers over you.  They all do.  Believe me.

According to the two, the administration threatened their lives and illegally detained them.  There was even a hostage occurence that is unsure if fabricated or not.  My response to this is: WTF?!  How did this escalate quickly?  No one knows.  But wait, it gets weirder than it already is.

After the event, Angel Manalo claimed that the hostage was just a child's joke.  I might call bulls%*t on that one because what kind of child would pretend to be a hostage by writing on a piece of paper with the words "TULONG! HOSTAGE KAMI!"(Help! We are hostaged!).  No child does that because there is already an android app for that (I hope).

The now viral hostage sign.  (Source: Rappler.com)

Like Rappler, news media sites are littered with articles about this incident.  It especially got viral on INC members, but I wouldn't count on the general populace.  This may be a scandal, but this is no sex scandal.  Let's admit it, this would've been more viral than it already is if it were true.  Filipinos love a good sex/obscene scandal.

If you still want to desintegrate a majority of your brain cells from either the topic of this article or my horrible writing skills, then enjoy the next part of this article.

Note:     If this post has ever any typographical, factual, or intellectual property errors, please do let me now in the comments.  I'll be glad to correct them so long as they are valid.

Lies and Citizenship: Binay vs Poe's citizenship

We have to admit that we lied at some point in our life.  Lies are like a universal law.  If you see an adult human being, there is a small chance that he has never lied before.  If our lie is ever discovered, we either admit to our fault, or we cover it up with another lie.  In this situation, the most idiotic action to undertake is to deny that a lie has been made while your lie is revealed directly in front of your face, therefore making you look like an idiot.  That is why I gave myself a slap directly on my forehead when this action is committed by not only a lawyer, but also a politician and SITTING vice president of a country.

Meet Vice President Jejomar Binay, the Kokey that no one likes.  He has been on every Philippine news media for his alleged corruption involving a building, a school, and a monument of the national hero.  That sentence would have been a perfect pitch for a Philippine version of “The Wolf of Wall Street”, but that would be ridiculous.  Who would ever go balls deep with an African-American alien which speech impediment?

Binay recently made an attack on Senator Grace Poe after she announced her presidential candidacy.  Rappler even revealed a blatant lie he committed when he made that statement.  He said:

"Ayaw ko na hong makisawsaw diyan (Poe's qualifications) and, unang-una, mahal ko pa rin ho si FPJ." (I don't want to meddle with that issue, and first, I still love FPJ.)”

This was his answer to the question regarding Poe’s qualifications as presidential candidate when her citizenship is in question.  You may think that that is a very specific description on the nature of the attack that he supposedly will never do, but that is the SAME attack that he did on Poe just days ago.  He promised us, and he never even fulfilled it.

Unfortunately, that is just the tip of the iceberg.  As I mentioned, his attack is on Poe’s citizenship, which even until now is still in question for unknown reasons.  If Poe’s citizenship is ever invalid, she cannot run for president.  If you must know, Poe received a US citizenship to study abroad, however she renounced it when she ran for a public office.  This is where the argument starts.

Binay’s argument is that the US Oath of Allegience has lines stated below:

“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;…”

Poe said those lines, and therefore invoked her natural-born citizenship.  Here’s the problem: NO ONE EVEN DOES THAT!

No one, not even the US government, is forcing you to renounce your allegiance.  A user who goes by the name “El_Che” even elaborated that our law states that getting a dual citizenship does not remove your citizenship to this country.  The US government has no power in changing the laws of other nation, so our law still stands.  “Newcitizen.us”, a website for naturalized and native-born American citizens, also explained that there were NO US Supreme Court rulings or even a passage in the constitution where renouncement of native citizenship is requirement for naturalization. So when Poe got her US citizenship, she was still a natural-born Filipino citizen, which is part of his second argument.

Binay’s second argument is that she renounced her US citizenship in less than the years required to be a presidential candidate.  Like I said, she was still a natural-born Filipino citizen when she got her US citizenship.  That means she has more than the required years to be a presidential candidate.  You are a lawyer, yet you are being schooled in the topic of citizenship by a third year college student.  Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Look, Binay.  I don’t know if you are just removing another obstacle for your goal of Philippine domination.  If you are going to, at least be smart when you are doing it.  You don’t answer invitations, you sued your enemies for damages in libel without even proving that there ever was a libel, and you try to attack the daughter of the person you look up to.  I am really excited for your announcement for presidency, because it will fuel my political satire lust.  Please, Binay.  Do not stop contradicting yourself and defending it with more contradictions.

Note:     If this post has ever any typographical, factual, or intellectual property errors, please do let me now in the comments.  I'll be glad to correct them so long as they are valid.
