3-Story Rundown #2 (April 18, 2016)

So, I have not updated this blog in eight and a half months.  I have a very good reason for this..........screw it!  I have no good reason.  The college work that I had puts so much stress in me that every free time that I have is dedicated to either playing DotA 2 (which the idea of still playing it troubles me), reading fanfictions (mostly the saucy ones), and sleeping (what kind of college student would I be).  After months of inactivity and the semester is about to end, I watched reruns of The Daily Show on the Internet.  The show made me miss the time that I started this blog.  After all, what kind of sick monster would I be if I stopped criticizing extensively the socially, politically and, intellectually inept.

This is the reason why I am posting another 3-story rundown.  Well, at least one of the reasons.  The other reason would be that I still don't have the will to write another one (GODDAMN YOU, COLLEGE!!!).  I hope this piece revives my will to insult people, like Binay.  Enjoy this sick monstrosity of a piece:

1.)  Mindanao Religious Leaders Endorse Binay Over Duterte (Rappler.com)

The Sabiel Almuhtadeen Foundation-Philippines, Incorporated has supported the sexual chocolate and not turbo-FPJ.  The leaders of this foundation reasoned that the Greek God of Charcoals will bring an end to the discrimination and injustice on Muslims and "lasting peace", which has nothing to do with the territorial claims and a certain bill that never caught on.

Again, this must be a huge spank in the ass for the Judge Dredd of Mindanao.  Of course, a typical Binay one-up is not complete without an idiotic phrase from the Vice President of the Sun People.

“Gawain ho ni Duterte ‘yung ganun. All of us, Muslims, Christians, all of us have the moral responsibility na hindi ho maging presidente si Duterte kasi kapag dumating ho ang punto sabi ni Duterte na 'wag kayong magrally-rally sa Davao, ibig sabihin kapag hindi mo sinunod ‘yun, papatayin ka noon,”
-Binay

WE HAVE A MORAL RESPONSIBILTY OF NOT VOTING A MAN WHO COULD PREVENT OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH.  INSTEAD, WE HAVE A MORAL RESPONSIBILITY TO VOTE A MAN WHO SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE A FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO BEGIN WITH!!!

Seriously, Chris Rock's evil twin has the audacity to tell us our responsibility while he admits he has no responsibility at all.  From his alleged corruption to the fact that he told UPLB students that he has neither roles nor responsibilities in the government, according to the law.  So basically, we are being told of our moral responsibilities by a man who has consistently denied any responsibilities whatsoever, possibly including the moral one.

2.) Duterte clarifies stand on China row, NPA tax (ABS-CBN News)

To sum it up, Roxas want Duterte to clarify his stance on these certain issues, since the Mayor has some irregularities made in his statements.  After the former DILG secretary pointed these out, Duterte responded in one of the most idiotic statements I ever heard from him:

"Baka ang nagfli-flipflop ay siya -- sometimes, lalaki; sometimes, babae. Isa lang ang China, ano ba ang i-flipflop mo diyan. That is ours there. Anong gusto niya? I will claim the whole of China for us?"     -Duterte

WTF?!  The man is questioning your statements and you fired back with verbal insults and lack of understanding of the question asked.  Roxas questioned your statements and you questioned his gender identity?!  Worst of all, the last part of that statement wasn't even in Roxas' argument.  This is ignorance at its finest.  The best part is that it didn't stop there.

"I am friendly to everybody. I am friendly even to China, but China knows that that is ours. It doesn't mean to say that if you're my friend, if you take a territory from me, I will not be friendly with you,"     -Duterte

Oh, Rody.  You'll never understand, do you?  First of all, your friendliness has an exception, and that is to criminals.  So, statement 1 is already false.  Second, the China doesn't know that it is ours.  Even if we told them, THEY WILL STILL SAY THAT IT IS THEIRS.  That is the problem of China, and you know you can't be friendly to others who says "mine" to everything he/she sees.  Finally, "if you take a territory from me, I will not be friendly with you," is not a statement you need to hear from a presidential candidate.  Sure, he later said that he doesn't want war, you cannot be saying that if you are going to be a president.  The president must be calm and friendly, not easily provocative.

The article never stopped there.  He also had some statements about the NPA:

"I have to talk to them, I have see what I can do for my country to arrive at a peaceful solution. You do not kill your own enemies, you have to talk them. I am friendly with them because I know one day, I will have to talk them about nation-building."     -Duterte

Again with the friendliness.  Right now, I need to ask a question to Mayor Duterte: who really is your friend?  I know criminals aren't, but rebels?  They are the organization that consistently commit unlawful behavior, and justify them as acts for a better cause or accidents.  I don't even know who your friends are.  The most frightening is the fact that I also don't know who your enemies were.

Roxas also blasted Duterte in the subject of revolutionary tax, the "tax" businessman have to pay to the NPA.  Apparently, Duterte advises them to pay it, which Roxas pointed out.  Good news is that Rody's vice presidential running mate, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, defended him.  Bad news is that he also responded with the way Duterte did, with lack of understanding of the argument.

"Ang Liberal po ang nagsabi na kasama sa programa nila ang pakikipag-usap sa NPA. Bakit kapag mas gusto ng NPA na kausap si Mayor Duterte, biglang sila ngayon ay kalaban at hindi dapat kausapin?"     -Cayetano

OH, COME ON, CAYETANO?!  Do I have to explain it to you?  Roxas never made any statements whatsoever about denying talks with the NPA, at least on that matter.  He only questioned Duterte's advice.  Why is it that this party only resorts to questioning the person asking without comprehending the question itself?  Is this your running gag or current strategy?

Look, I am not saying that I am a Roxas supporter.  I am more of a Miriam boy (#MiriamFight).  I view Roxas less of a politician and more of a sycophant.

3.) Poe, Duterte in statistical tie; Robredo tops VP race  (GMA News Network)

Oh, great.  Another SWS Survey.  Joy.  I can't wait for them to dictate CORRECTLY which candidate we need to vote for.....

At this point in my life, I stopped listening to this surveys.  They don't really tell the whole story.  This is why I am leaving this third story with a blank slate, which is a first for me.  To compensate for this story's lack of intuitive gains, I am ending this article.

And, that is all for this day's 3-Story Rundown.  I admit, I had fun writing this article, especially the second one.  Hopefully, I could write more stories for everyone to not read.  As always, if there is a reader in this site (probably not), let me know of any errors in this article or previous ones.
